How to Keep Your Guests Happy in the Summer Heat
We all love summer weddings, but with it comes the love, but dreaded heat! With temperatures ranging from the mid-90s to even 110 here in Northern California! We want to make sure you and your guests are happy. Here are some of our top tips to keep in mind when planning your summer wedding!
tip number one:
Fresh welcome drinks! Whether that is ice water or iced tea or a refreshing welcome cocktail like an Apèral Spritz! Having your guests grab a drink before sitting down in the heat is wonderful!
tip number two:
We love the ceremonies that have a gorgeous back drop and unobstructed views! With that most likely comes the sun, and all of your guests will be in direct sun! So a really fun way to make your ceremony look beautiful in photos and keep your guests shaded, are gorgeous parasols or hand fans! They don’t have to be the biggest and most expensive ones on the market, but something to help keep your guests shaded from the sun will make a huge difference!
tip number three:
If your venue is all outdoors, meaning your reception space isn't indoors then you may want to consider renting or purchasing small portable AC units. Not only will this help your guests, but even for the Bride and Groom. Brides, if you are getting married in the middle of summer you may want to consider getting a dress thats not going to be 50 pounds on a 90 degree day. Having a little AC unit will help you out to stay cool.
